Ampangan Vocational High School, Seremban was founded on 3 April 1972 is the first Carpentry Vocational School in Negeri Sembilan. Caused unprepared miss this school building, for the time being, all the accomplices and the students boarded at II KGV School building (now is SMK Seri Ampangan). Walaubagaimanapun, school buildings have been prepared in Jun, the 1972. During the early embodiment seramai 20 teachers, 6 gardener, a maid Makmal and a guard on duty. The first dean of this school is Encik George Emmual (1972-1977). Numbers of students who registered in 1972 was 143 people as busy as most discussions. A total of 8 vocational courses have been offered at the time.
In 1997 the school has raised the level and school name is exchanged into the School of Engineering Ampangan, Seremban. The name of the school was once again exchanged into Ampangan Vocational High School, Seremban began in 2010.
