History sending Malaysian students to the land of Egypt for further studies in medicine began in 1973 with the receipt of the first batch of students under the sponsorship of the Department of Public Service. This continued until the early 80s. Unfortunately, this decade has seen the dismissal process for students by the sponsor (the government) and replaced with shipments to other medical faculties in the country and also some selected medical faculties abroad.

However, the arrival of Malaysian students to the republic shall not cease altogether. Still caught some Malaysian students enrolled in the faculties of medicine in Egypt with privately-funded and state-sponsored foundations.

News retransmission new students sponsored by the Department of Public Service to inspire Malaysian medical students existing in Egypt to set up a committee known as the sponsor of the Subcommittee Celebration of Students New to facilitate and ensure efficiency of the new students welcome this.

This idea is supported by the Malaysian Students Department in Cairo (MNCC) at that time, the late Ustaz Wan Bakar bin Wan Dagang. While the Committee was chaired by Mr Ahmad Taqiuddin bin Zakaria and assisted by several other senior students.

With the arrival of new students a total of 14 people, the subcommittee's first meeting to elect individuals to fill existing vacancies. The committee then unanimously agreed to rename the existing Welfare Committee of the Malaysian Medical Students or JAKSAP Egypt. The Committee is chaired by Mr Ahmad Taqiuddin bin Zakaria and assisted by his deputy, sister Farah Yasmin binti Mohd. Jais.

Starting from the establishment of this committee, the establishment of the Charity Students Malaysian Medical MEDICAL Egypt abridged, which is responsible for managing all matters related to student medical students growing in number.

The main agenda proposed by MEDICAL every year is to maintain and enhance the welfare of members as well as strengthen relationships and enhance the unity among members in particular, and among Muslims in general. On the basis of these objectives and, in each year of the diagnosis work programs have felt able to achieve the goals outlined above.
