Sek Men Sains Sultan Mahmud (Logo Vector)


School of Science, Sultan Mahmud (better known as Sesma) is a boarding school in Malaysia. The school is located in the Waqf Sau, Kuala Terengganu, the School of Engineering and Airport Technical School Endowments Tembesu.

The official opening of the school was carried out by the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah, son of the late Sultan Zainal Abidin on 5 September 1979. On 18 September 1982 the school changed its name to the School of Kuala Terengganu's Sultan Mahmud where the ceremony officiated by Sultan Mahmud Al Muktafi Billah Shah, son of the late Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah. In 1995 the school was again given a new name, School of Science, Sultan Mahmud, Kuala Terengganu (Sesma) is a reflection of the importance of science in the school curriculum of today.

The first principal was Mr. Haji Muhammad b Mustaffa Shamsuddin En Johari as Senior Assistant. Group pioneer batch of 109 students comprising 51 males and 58 females with 5 males and 2 females. In 1978, the first intake of students' matriculation classes total 90 people organized by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has diadakan.SESMA entered the digital age when he became one of the SMART SCHOOL under the development plan of the Ministry of Education in 1999.
